General Questions:
Do I need to be selling sports or tuned cars, parts to post an ad(s) on this site?
NO. If you are selling a car and you are not sure what category to place it under, please use Not Modified or you can just write to us and we can advise you.
Is placing an ad really FREE?
YES. There are no fees for placing ads. Simply follow quick sign up process and place an ad in the appropriate category.
I don’t like giving out my personal information, why is that necessary?
If you read our privacy policy you will find our promise not to share your information with anyone. The reason we ask for your info is to ensure that your advertisements are genuine. We tried to make the log in process as straight forward as we could, however, there is always room for improvement. If you like to suggest any ideas on how to improve our site - click here. If we implement your idea we will get in touch and reward you, to show our appreciation.
How many photos can I include with my ad?
We allow you to post up to 6 photos with your advertisement. We encourage you to take good photos and accompany your ad with them. Photos catch attention and it’s proved that ads with photos are more successful. Buyers like to see what they are buying; if they are not buying, perhaps it will get them thinking.
What else will make my ad successful and possibly a quick sell?
Many factors come into play, in our opinion what is important:
- Good quality photos
- Description – tell the buyer why they should buy your vehicle or parts
- Good reliable contact info – if the buyer is not able to get in touch, well too bad; no sell for you.
Is there a limit on how many ads I can place?
NO. At the moment you may have as many as you like!
What about extras?
Plenty for anybody to choose from (well at least we think so). Placing an ad is FREE, however you have a wide variety of extras to choose from:
- Highlight Color – Make your ad stand our from the crowd
- Featuring – Make your ad a feature ad and catch everybody’s attention
- Visibility – Another way to stand out; either bold ad or both red and bold
- Priority Ranking – it’s all about location (hmm heard that before; somewhere). This functionality is designed to assign rankings to ads as far the positioning goes based on search results or list appearance of categories. The higher the rank, the better results because your ad will be always placed towards the top of the list. Ranks are from lowest to highest.
Your Priority Ranking options are:
- No priority
- Bronze priority
- Silver priority
- Gold priority
- Platinum priority
Is there a time limit for the ads running?
NO. Your ad will run until sold. Once you sell your vehicle or parts we kindly ask you to login into your account and mark your ad with a SOLD sign. We will keep the ad for a short period of time and then it will be removed from the site.
How to create and use my account:
How do I create a new account?
Simply from the main site select Place Ad option, if you would like to create an account select Register from the top menu and select an appropriate account type.
Why do you need to verify my email?
We need to know how to communicate with you, as well ensure that you are able to receive emails from our systems. Users can write you emails using our site. Also, there are auto generated emails, which you might need to receive (ex.: your ad performance...)
I have the first email. What’s next?
Without email verification the account will not be created for you. If you received the first email – Great. Follow the instructions in the email to finalize the verification process. Now you can place an advert. Use the forum, create your forum profile with your personal gallery and perhaps tell everybody about upcoming events you like to promote.
Can I change the ad(s) once posted?
Absolutely. You can:
- Renew/Update Listing(s)
- Copy/Duplicate Listing(s)
- Preview Listing(s)
- Enable/Disable Listing(s)
Can I see how my ad is performing and how many users looked at it?
YES. Login into your account you will see summary of your listing(s). This summary includes:
- Listing Category
- Listing Title
- Listing Statistics
- Listing Number
- Times Viewer or Requested
- Starting Date – Exp. Date
- Payment history(only for listings including extras)
If I add some extra options can I view them for my reference?
Of course. Login into your account you will see a comprehensive summary of your payments submitted using Paypal. Once logged in from My Menu you can:
- View listing(s)
- Add listing(s)
- Edit you profile
- View Payment(s)
- Favorites
- Logout
Why Paypal?
We partnered with Paypal to handle payments for the extras simply because they are (in our opinion) the best payment processing company in the world. Most of the online community already has an account with Paypal or will create one in the near future. They are secure and very reliable. Your information is safe with Paypal!
What is the Favorites section, how can I use it?
Do you have adverts (listings) you like to follow? No problem, simply add them to your favorites list.
Can I search for ads from my account?
YES. In your account you are provided with a search box where you can search ads by Item Number (Listing Number) or by their title.
